In a small Dubai home, a grandmother’s lullaby sparks memories. As the family talks about the Balangay, an ancient boat used by early Filipinos, their room transforms into a journey across islands filled with stories about hope, dreams, and community.
Through theatre, music, dance, and digital art, Sulyap 2.0 celebrates the roots and stories of the Filipino diaspora.
This year’s Sulyap showcases a captivating theatre performance by 63Kolektib, vibrant cultural dances by United Filipino Culture & Arts, soulful vocal performances from Dubai Vocal Ensemble, and stunning digital art by Baybayin script artist Gino Banola.
