This is a full-time on-site Operations and Procurement Manager
role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our company's supply chain and procurement processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, and logistics activities to support the organization's operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize efficiency.Responsibilities:Procurement Strategy:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives. This includes identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and managing vendor relationships.Supplier Management:
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Obtain at least three quotes for the purchases. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that arise.Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs. Implement inventory control measures and regular audits to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.Logistics and Distribution:
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Obtain delivery permits to the premises of the theater, reduce costs and improve delivery times.Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve procurement and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions where applicable.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Support, House Keeping, Product department, Sales and Finance to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business goals and make sure theater operates smoothly.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for procurement and operations activities. Monitor spending against budget and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards. Implement and enforce procurement policies and procedures to promote transparency.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or operations role, preferably in theater or hotel environment.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement systematization.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
