Prana, meaning life-force in Sanskrit, is more than a concert — it’s an emotional and musical journey into the heart of India.
TODA welcomes Karthika Vaidyanathan and her live band for a one-of-a-kind immersive evening that blends Indian classical music, Western classical elements, timeless retro Bollywood melodies and Healing through ragas.
The 70-minute set begins with a gentle build — an immersive soundscape that draws the audience inward — and gradually blossoms into an interactive, vibrant experience.
This is TODA’s first Indian cultural night in years — a soulful invitation for anyone longing for the sounds of home or seeking to discover the richness of India’s musical heritage.
About the Artist:
Born into a family deeply rooted in music, Karthika trained under the legendary Bombay Jayashri Ramnath, whom she reveres as both guru and godmother. She is also the founder of Swarakshara, a thriving music community supporting aspiring musicians through education and empowerment.
Karthika’s voice and presence have touched many across generations — and now, she brings that energy to TODA’s 360° stage.
