As the UAE’s first 360° art hub, we’ve curated more than 100 events and exhibitions, combining cutting-edge technology with creative manifestations from over the globe.
But we are sure, there’s much more out there!
That’s why we are launching a NeoTheatre — a seasonal pop-up project & residency program that aims to support Dubai’s growing performing arts community.
We believe that NeoTheatre will connect our common heritage with our future by introducing new approaches that fuses familiar art practices with interactive technology.

From November 1 to February 29, we will be giving a stage to the promising young talents, so their works can get noticed by the cultural government entities, arts organisations, industry professionals and the general public.

The shortlisted applicants will be provided with a curatorial advice from award-winning Australian writer and director, Alex Broun, as well as sponsorship and technical support from the Theatre of Digital Art.

All applicants must be available to come to the UAE.
Experience
The Independent performing arts companies, Directors or Theatre-Makers should have at least 2-5 years of experience in the field of performing arts.
Prior experience with interactive technology and immersive scenography (sensory effects, VR, AR, holograms) is considered as an asset.
Prior experience with involving children and youths in theatre production is considered as an asset.
Uniqueness
The proposed performance should be either newly created or has never been performed previously in the UAE.
All applicants must be available to come to the UAE.
