La Mar Collective brings together five Cuban women musicians to celebrate music created by women. Each artist performs one original composition alongside a song by another Cuban female songwriter, weaving together stories, influences, and generations. Special guest artists join the performance for an evening dedicated to the talent, diversity, and lasting legacy of women in Cuban music.
Bolero takes center stage, with classics like "Dos Gardenias" and "Veinte Años" among the songs performed.
Sandra Ivette, Camila Inclán Sebastia, María Laura, Gretel Milán, and Duba Margarita make up La Mar Collective — five Cuban women musicians based in Dubai. Between them, they've performed at major festivals and venues across Cuba and the UAE, including the Sikka Art and Design Festival, bringing the sound and spirit of Cuban music to international stages
