Back by popular demand, Imelda Gabs returns to TODA for another immersive live journey where piano, voice, and electronic textures intertwine in real time. The classically trained pianist and singer builds each piece live, layering vocals, keys, loops, rhythms, and atmospheric soundscapes before the audience’s eyes. This time, Imelda will be joined by acclaimed oud player Kamal Musallam for a special guest appearance.
Blending the emotional depth of soul music with cinematic electronic elements, her performances feel both intimate and expansive — part concert, part live creation process. Each song unfolds organically, offering audiences a rare glimpse into music being crafted in the moment.
A two-time Montreux Jazz Festival performer, Imelda has shared the stage with Marcus Miller and Rhoda Scott, and opened for internationally acclaimed artists including Lianne La Havas, The Roots, and Calema.
Following the release of her self-produced debut album Synopsis in 2023, she is currently working on her second record, continuing to shape a sound that is raw, immersive, and unapologetically her own.
